Due to a staggering pet overpopulation problem, millions of healthy, well-behaved cats and dogs are euthanized every year in the US.
The senseless deaths are not simply the result of homeless animals reproducing—these are the puppies and kittens of beloved family pets.
Sadly, some shelters euthanize more than half of the pets brought in.
These numbers are dramatically reduced when spay/neuter programs are in place.
That is why the Where Pigs Fly Farm is working to add a vet clinic that offers FREE spaying and neurturing.
The Rector Animal Care Clinic, a memorial to Ronald Rector is currently under construction.
The foundation has been poured, electric has been run to the location and the well has been dug.
